Social Media Content Creator
During my master's in Visual Journalism, I worked part-time as a content creator for the University of South Wales. This included being given briefs that I had to complete through filming local areas, myself and other voice-over work.
I also helped come up with ideas for content and had to work with the media team within the university. The content I created was used on various platforms including Instagram, Twitter, TikTok and Facebook.
I have also taken over the University of South Wales-related Instagram pages such as @USWCreative. For example, during the launch of a student photography exhibition I filmed and interviewed people at the event posting it on Instagram stories to celebrate. I have also taken over their Instagram pages on open days and during The Immersed Music Festival Events.
This is my first experience working on social media with a large following. The University of South Wales has 85 thousand followers on Facebook, 39 thousand on Twitter and 26 thousand on Instagram.
