ABOUT ME

My portfolio reflects a variety of work and my passion for marketing and public relations specifically within social media. It also demonstrates my interest in motorsport throughout.

I am studying MA in Visual Journalism at the University of South Wales. As a visual journalist, I aim to tell compelling stories using multimedia for promotional and informative. My work combines photography, videography and editing with a specific focus and experience in making content for social media.

I have also taken on the role of 'Class Representative' where I am responsible for relaying issues within the course to staff members and any student struggles.

I always seek new opportunities to collaborate with other creatives and expand my skill set.

Work Experience

MARKETING WORK EXPERIENCE, DO DIGITIAL AGENCY, UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH WALES AND PONTYPRIDD UNITED

I have had lots of exciting opportunities to work on marketing with a particular focus on social media. My varied experience has allowed me a better understanding of how different companies operate. You can find more examples of my content creation work here.

JOURNALISM WORK EXPERIENCE, ITV CYMRU & BBC WALES TODAY

During my exciting time with ITV, I shadowed journalists and learnt more about the environment and processes to create the news and other documentary programmes. There was also an exciting opportunity to go to an event launching the new series of “Y Byd yn ei Le”.

While working with the BBC I was able to get involved in writing links, editing packages, going out filming and even trying news presenting during a rehearsal. It was an exciting insight into how different journalistic companies operate and an opportunity to get involved in the creation of the news.
